Sausages

ALL OF OUR SAUSAGES HAVE A MINIMUM OF 80% MEAT CONTENT (except Boerewors).
As all our sausages are hand made on the premises, there are between 6 - 8 to the lb.

TRADITIONAL PORK If you like your sausages as they used to taste in the good old days before mass production, this is the banger for you. The mother of them all. Low salt content.

SPECIAL CUMBERLAND A tasty sausage subtly flavoured with rubbed herbs. Medium spicy. Low salt content.

PORK & STILTON A real favourite, particularly good eaten cold with a nice glass of port.

LAMB & MINT We’re certainly sheepish about this one! A truly wonderful sausage delicately flavoured with mint - A whole new different sausage experience.

PORK & ALE From a recipe originally created for an innkeeper and made using specially brewed Suffolk ale, we would not recommend driving after over-indulging in these delicious concoctions.

LINCOLNSHIRE Sagey sausage popular with traditionalists, a good all­-rounder welcome at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Mildly spicy.

SPICY GARLIC If you like garlic, you’ll love these not too strong but strong enough to be interesting.

TOMATO Made with real tomatoes, the blend of seasonings makes for a really delicious moist sausage. Mildly seasoned. Low salt content.

PORK & WHOLEGRAIN MUSTARD If ever two things go together it’s pork and mustard - the little crunchy mustard seeds really make this sausage rise above the ordinary.

PORK & LEEK Made with real leeks, this is a popular sausage at any time of the year. Mildly seasoned.

CAJUN Watch out for the chilli kick that comes after you taste this sausage - a favourite with those who like hot things.

PORK & APPLE If you like apple sauce with pork, you'll love this one - a sweet sausage with interesting little pieces of apple to tickle the palate. Low spiced.

OLDE ENGLISH A herby sausage ideal for breakfast. Medium spiced.

CHILLI, PORK & TOMATO Combines the real tomato flavour with chilli - fairly hot.

BEEF, GUINNESS & GARLIC Strong robust sausage with a divine aroma - made with real Guinness. Perfect for casseroles.

PORK & BACON The perfect blend for a scrumptious breakfast sausage.

TOULOUSE A traditional French recipe inspired this delicious meaty sausage - the subtle blend of garlic and seasonings will titillate your taste buds. Makes a good addition to many dishes such as cassoulet and bean soup.

ITALIAN This subtle but distinct fennel - flavoured sausage has been devised following suggestions from our customers.

BOEREWORS Pork minced with beef and seasoned with pepper, salt, nutmeg and fresh coriander and formed into a ring.

LORNE Beef and pork combined with traditional spices used in Scotland to provide this sausage - popular with nostalgic Scots.

BEEF Meaty - all beef sausage, traditional seasonings.

CHIPOLATAS Succulent chipolatas - a firm favourite with both adults and children - perfect for parties.

SAUSAGE MEAT Ideal for stuffings, meat loaves, sausage rolls and sausage meat balls.
